While completing her Bachelor of Arts in communication/journalism and French minor, Sasha Steinberg worked for the Office of Public Affairs as a part-time writer in 2014. Since graduating summa cum laude from Mississippi State, she has been producing news and feature stories for OPA as a full-time writer.

As a member of the Starkville-MSU Public Relations Association of Mississippi Chapter, Public Relations Association of Mississippi, and the Southern Public Relations Federation, Sasha has received numerous awards for feature stories appearing in the university's Alumnus magazine.

In addition to her work at OPA, Sasha has enjoyed serving in membership, communication and programming-focused leadership positions for the Starkville-MSU PRAM Chapter. She was elected in 2018 to serve as 2019 chapter president.

During her four years as an MSU student, Sasha wrote for The Reflector newspaper, served as a manager for the MSU track and field team, and was an active member in the M-Club, Society of Scholars, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and campus chapters of Lambda Pi Eta communication, Phi Kappa Phi academic and Pi Delta Phi French national honor societies. Sasha also worked as a summer intern and contributing writer for the St. Tammany News and Inside Northside Magazine, both located in Covington, Louisiana.

A native of Mandeville, Louisiana, Sasha is a graduate of Fontainebleau High School. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, attending Mississippi State athletic events, watching New Orleans Saints games, spending time with family and friends, and doing freelance writing and editing.
