Bethany Shipp serves as the Marketing & Communication Coordinator for the Office of Public Affairs at Mississippi State University.

A Starkville native, Shipp earned her bachelor's degree in communication from MSU where she served as the Director of Public Relations for the Student Association. Upon graduation, she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she performed at Walt Disney World for over five years. She then worked in Guest Service Operations for two Disney Vacation Club resorts during the roll-out of Disney's MyMagic+.

Before returning to MSU in August 2017, Shipp was a Marketing Senior Specialist for over two years at Florida Hospital, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit health care providers.

Shipp is excited to return to her alma mater and resides in Starkville.
